Well that's the thing, I've installed and uninstalled the program many times, but each time I do I get the warning 'The system does not detect gaming mouse'. So whenever I try and use the driver to program the buttons on my mouse it never goes through. I have the latest version of the driver as well. This only started happening when I was forced to recover my system after a big crash that disabled my laptop from use for many days. After I was able to recover and update the laptop from Windows 8.1 to 10, only reason was because the usb drive had an 8.1 ver, I plugged in my old mouse, which is the exact same mouse just broken. It still did not detect.PS: it was working last week around 2/6/19. So summary of this story is that my system does not detect mouse Havit mouse(Model: HV-MS735) as a programmable mouse to let the driver I have installed for it edit the buttons.

This mouse is new, I have used it before. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver many times, using both 1.0 and 1.2(beta) versions found on the Havit site. And before last Thursday(2/6/19) everything was working fine. I've done many of the techniques offered online, getting many of the same responses and none of these have worked.
