Turtle Beach Z22 Drivers Not Installing

PC Pitstop - PC Performance RootsPC Pitstop began in 1999 with an emphasis on computer diagnostics and maintenance. During the early days of the dot com boom, our online PC maintenance tools were skyrocketing. Using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer along with ActiveX technology, we could provide free diagnostic and maintenance tools that didn’t need to be installed. As times changed and PC Pitstop grew, we transitioned to a software subscription model to not only provide better and more secure diagnostic and maintenance tests, but turn our focus towards computer security with PC Matic.

I went from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and my Turtle Beach PX22 headset was working perfectly fine. After I ran Skype it began to auto update then Skype tells me my headset was not detected anymore.

I opened my playback/recording devices tab and it was nolonger in the list AFTER the Skype update. I uninstalled Skype, opened Device Manager and uninstalled my Realtek Driver then reinstalled/updated the driver, unplugged the headset ad restarted my system then plugged it back in. After that it was detected butthe microphone was super static sounding and my headphones barely had sound output.

So I used to use windows 7 and had no problem with my Turtle Beach PX22s. Bought a fresh copy of Windows 10 Home and ran into all these problems with them. Not being recognized, driver issues. So I got to the point where I can get the headset installedthrough the troubleshooting in Device and Printers. The headpphones portion is graet but then my MIC crackles like crazy and cannot be understood.

I have a blue snowball which works fine, but that shouldn't be a solution to a once fine working (more expensive)communication device. I know the headset works fine on other machines so it's not the headset. I've tried different USB ports. There is no option in the properties to switch off the 'enhancements' which I hear can be an issue. Running the 'compatiability'to me doesn't work and make any sense because it seems to be a driver issue, not a program issue. Your above solutions do not help my issue, what else can be done? OR is microsoft actually looking into a proper driver for this scenerio.
